Working on set or in the studio can pose a variety of problems, my job as a photographer is to come up with solutions to improve or assist in bringing to life the art directors vision, Ultimately to satisfy the client.

"I work from awkwardness. By that I mean I don't like to arrange things. If i stand in front of something, instead of arranging it, I arrange myself." Diane Arbus
"My first feature film I worked on was Wolf Creek, I had no experience at shooting stills on set, i wasn't sure if there was a way or a process that i was supposed to follow. Many of my photographic idols had spent sometime on set shooting stills so i believed i was on the right track. I very quickly realised that there was no right way only the right shot." Daniel Guerra
"Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be payed" -Frank Zappa
With my personal work I like to let instinct take over and not question the reason for pressing the button
"To consult the rules of composition before making a picture is a little like consulting the law of gravitation before going for a walk" -Edward Weston
